Free Download: Apparel Pricing Guide
The Apparel Pricing Guide
If you are looking for a quick way to generate screen printing or direct to garment (DTG) quotes using a Windows-based computer, there are many great estimate software packages available for screen printers ranging from $30 up to thousands of dollars. I demo’d many of the available quote generators and decided that I needed something custom to how I price apparel, so I created my own Microsoft Excel-based Screen Printing quote generator; the Apparel Pricing Guide. And now, I am making the download available to you, for free!
Unlike some of the pricier quote software applications, there are no pre-built garment prices. For me, I felt that not capitalizing on the constant sale prices of many common t-shirt brands and styles, I was over-charging customers. However, nearly every other aspect of the Apparel Pricing Guide is automated, all the way up to creating invoices, receipts, and tracking print orders.
Features for Windows-based PC’s
- One-time setup of shop details for invoices and receipts.
- Choose artwork costs based on a flat fee or per-color
- Allow for printing markup if the customer provides their own apparel
- New and existing screen setup fees
- Supports up to 12 print colors and four locations
- Small, Medium, and Large DTG and Dye Sublimation pricing
- Choose your apparel markup based on apparel price
- Choose your own print price quantity ranges (i.e 12-24, 25-74, 75 – 149, etc)
- Enter prices for vinyl names and numbers
- Customer list with name, contact, address, and more
- Auto-invoice and receipt creation with customer list drop-down for quick invoicing
- PDF invoices and receipts with one-click
- Track open and complete orders

This is the best pricing tool I’ve used to date! Granted I’ve only been at it for about half a year. Pricing has always been a struggle for me. I’ve tried using pricing from other printers I’ve looked up on the net. I’ve also used many different excel spreadsheets I’ve found on the net as well. This one here though is a game changer for me. I’ve discovered my pricing has been sporadic at best. Some jobs over priced, some under priced. Thank you so much for this! This is excellent!
Do you have a copy of the pricing tool? I can’t find it anywhere.

I am having a bit of trouble with my invoices, the override column on the right of the sheet is not hidden when I export the sheet to PDF format. Any help with that?
p.s. I am running the sheet on my windows 10 machine.
if you hover over the edge you will be able to narrow the print area. hope that helps
For some reason my excel will not open. Says the file is corrupt.
I must be doing something wrong, how does it know to use DTG pricing and not screen printing? I am only getting the screen printing price but need the DTG.
Thanks
Steve, I just noticed that in the drop down boxes for print colors, at the bottom is Dye Sub and DTG options. Not sure if that helps!
It appears I can not saved the quotes, from quotes to “Saved Quotes”. I have deleted all the quotes from the page but when I save the quote I am working on it saves the old quote. I am on Windows 10, Office 2016.
Does the protected pages have anything to do with this, because quotes is protected.
Why can I not see a download button?
